Short Bio
Wendy was raised in Thatcher, Arizona where she attended Eastern Arizona College after graduating high school. During her time at EAC, she performed in various choirs and participated in leadership postitions in the ASEAC Student Council and Gila Valley Institute Council.
After receiving an Associates Degree in Vocal Performance,Wendy continued pursuing a music degree at Brigham Young University - Idaho. As part of her studies, she performed in prestigious choirs, taught voice lessons, arranged music and studied diction for singing in Italian, Latin, French and German. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Music (Vocal/Choral) and Education.
Wendy received her Masters Degree at Grand Canyon University in Elementary Education. During her certification, she observed and guest taught various subjects ranging from general music, band, choir and general education. She completed her student teaching in Thatcher Elementary, 3rd Grade.
She recently completed her third year teaching general music to K-3 students in Thatcher, AZ. During this time, she also directed several school musical programs such as Seussical Jr., A Disney Celebration, Bugs, Pirates! and many Christmas musical programs.
